Welcome to Bass High School

Bass High School is a comprehensive, coeducational high school situated in Bass Hill, approximately 23km south-west of the Sydney CBD.

We have spacious grounds that include tree-lined boundaries, playing fields, natural bush reserve and a working farm.

It is a multi-cultural school proud of it’s global heritage. 70% of our students are from a non-English speaking background. Our current population is approximately 750 students.

We are able to offer a broad syllabus covering traditional subjects as well as a range of electives including Agriculture, Drama, Physical Activity and Sport Studies, Child Studies, Photography and Industrial Arts.

Senior students enjoy a choice of traditional HSC subjects as well as Vocational Education Training (VET) courses in Business Services, IT, Hospitality, Primary Industries and Construction.

Bass High School has a proud sporting history achieving success as State Knockout Winners in Boys Baseball, Girls Soccer, Girls Indoor Soccer, and Under 16’s Rugby League. In 2007 Bass High School was also the winner of the Under 14’s Rugby League Buckley Shield.
