PDHPE
Many of life’s challenges are addressed through the learning activities in the various PDHPE courses. We encourage all students to participate to the best of their ability and to always strive to achieve personal goals.
What will students do in the junior years?
- Years 7-10 PDHPE (mandatory)
PDHPE is an abbreviation for Personal Development, Health and Physical Education. These 3 main areas of the syllabus provide students with a relevant grounding in the important “skills of life”.
The syllabus is further divided into 4 strands:
Strand 1: Self and relationships
Strand 2: Movement skill and performance
Strand 3: Individual and community health
Strand 4: Lifelong physical activity
What can students do in the senior years?
- Preliminary Year 11: PDHPE, SLR, SLR-Rugby League.
- HSC Year 12: PDHPE, SLR, SLR-Rugby League.
What other activities are available to students?

School Sport: Grade Sport, Recreational Sport, CHS State Knockout Sports, Year 7 Gala Days.

School Sport Carnivals: Swimming, Cross Country, Athletics.
